Seeking the Light already given

Seeking the Light already givenSeeking the Light already givenSeeking the Light already given

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

John 1:5

Does God hear you when you suffer?

When suffering presses beyond words, does God hear the cry of His people?

This devotional reflection follows:

Psalm 116:1–4, Hebrews 4:16, and Philippians 4:6–7, revealing the God who hears, the Savior who opens the throne of grace, and the peace that guards the heart in Christ.

Is faith private, hidden, kept secret?

What does it mean to believe in Jesus Christ, and can genuine faith remain private?  Faith That Confesses considers the difference between intellectual assent, saving trust, and open allegiance to the crucified and risen Lord. It is a devotional reflection on the faith that receives Christ in the heart and confesses Him before the world.
